Khojaly petition on White House's website scored required signatures. The number of signatures on the official website of the White House for the petition on the Khojaly genocide has reached 100,000.

It is the number required for US President Barack Obama to make a statement about the tragic events in Khojaly.

White House placed the petition on the website on January 26. The petition was put together by Azerbaijanis living in the US on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the "Khojaly Genocide".

During the Nagorno Karabakh War between Azerbaijan and Armenia, civilians, all of which were women and children, in Khojaly were slaughtered by Armenians on 25-26 February 1992.
