Turks living in the tornado-hit American state of Oklahoma continue to volunteer in relief efforts.

Turkish charity provided tornado survivors' with the most urgent needs including water, gloves, dypers and sanitary products immediately after the disaster on May 20 which left 24 dead.

Orhan Kucukosman, chairman of the Raindrop Foundation, said they started charity work following the tornado, adding, Turkish community did not forget helping hand of Oklahomans extended to the victims of devastating earthquake in October 2011 in Turkey's eastern province of Van which killed 604 people.

Kucukosman said, they also made a financial assistance to both the tornado-devastated town of Moore municipality and Red Cross, in addition to several aid campaigns.

Kucukosman announced, they would also undertake reconstruction of some damaged-school buildings.
