Deputy Spokesperson of US Department of State Marie Harf, speaking in daily briefing on Wednesday stated that "if the Assad regime were to submit an incomplete inventory, incomplete accounting of its CW program, it would, of course, be in noncompliance with the agreement."

Upon a  question asking whether Assad was moving the stockpiles, Harf stated that they hear those reports and they are concerned about it. On the other hand, "We have ways of monitoring his chemical weapons stockpiles, and we will keep our eyes on them to ensure that he’s not doing that. Obviously, this is a key part of any assessment about the – how big and where the stockpile and the key parts of it exist," said Harf.

Concerning the size of the stockpiles Harf said that the US has the assessment of how big the stockpile is and they agreed with Russians on the size of it. Concerning the timeline of the submission of the inventory Harf said: "If Syria, if the Assad regime, were to submit an incomplete inventory, incomplete accounting of its CW program, it would, of course, be in noncompliance with the agreement."

By the way Harf stated that the US Secretary of State John Kerry will begin meetings in New York on Sunday, September 22 in conjunction with the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

While in New York, Kerry will participate in a variety of meetings and side events highlighting US leadership on multilateral issues – including Syria, the Middle East Peace Process, and economic diplomacy.

Harf also stated that on Wednesday Kerry will talk toTurkish Foreign Minister Davutoglu and Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal on phone and is expected to meet Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the US state department offices.
