5+1 states postpone meeting on Iran's nuclear programme
A planned meeting of 5+1 states on Iran's nuclear program will not take place this year, the State Department said.
A planned meeting of representatives of the five permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany on Iran's nuclear program will not take place this year, the State Department said on Monday.
"It's been decided that because of scheduling difficulties that it won't be possible this year. They look forward to continuing to consult as they do on a frequent basis," said spokesman Ian Kelly. He said they may still speak by phone.
