Turkish police on Monday discovered up to 80 defensive hand grenades around one of those touristic areas (Titreyen lake) in Manavgat, Antalya during land excavations.
A special team, sent from Antalya in the morning, neutralized the grenades that were seized during the search and excavation in the morning, Anadolu news agency reported.
No official statement has not issued on the subject yet.
Previously hand-bombs were found across Turkey during digs within Ergenekon "coup case".
Turkish courts are currently hearing a case against the alleged secularist and nationalist "Ergenekon" network which is accused of plotting a coup.
