"The whole world has realised that all charges against Iran were wrong and that the Iranian nuclear programme is clean, peaceful and acknowledged by the IAEA," Ahmadinejad was quoted by ISNA as saying.
"The time has come that also the US realises this and at least revises its policies. We do not expect an apology," he added.
Referring to the US reaction to the IAEA report, Ahmadinejad said Washington was still trying to tell the world that their charges against Iran were correct.
White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said Thursday that the IAEA report showed that Iran has been "selective" in disclosing its nuclear work and therefore "not good enough."
"The US should show courage and admit its mistake. Repeating the same old charges over and over again will not be helpful," Ahmadinejad said.
He described the IAEA report as realistic and called on the United Nations nuclear watchdog "to find its real status and not be influenced by world powers."
Ahmadinejad said he hoped the IAEA report has removed doubts within the European Union member states and they would no longer be influenced by "false US propaganda."
