353 deputies of AKP (Justice and Development Party) will attend the first tour of voting for the presidential elections.
If the opposition party does not attend, the chair will go on withthe meeting saying "majority". If CHP (Republican People's Party) wantsa roll call, they will have to gather the signature of 20 deputies andthe attendance to the meeting.
In the event that the opposition party is not included in thegeneral assembly and the majority of 367 does not exist, the meetingwill start without roll call.
When CHP asks for a roll call with 20 deputies, the number of 20 deputies from AKP and CHP will exceed 367.
The debate on 367 has appeared on the agenda once again with the common statements of the rectors.
AKP has developed a two level plan against the possibility of the issue to be taken to the Constitutional Court.
According to this, AKP will push CHP to demand the quorum with its20 deputies and a group of AKP deputies will not vote at the first tourdespite attending the general meeting.
The debate that 367 votes required in terms of constitution is alsothe quorum for meeting and if this number is not met at the first tour, the election can not go on.
