The explosions began Saturday around noon, when military experts were dismantling large stocks of bombs, shells and bullets. The explosions lasted until early Sunday morning.

Albanian defense minister resigns over explosion
Albanian Defence Minister Fatmir Mediu presented his resignation on Monday after a series of violent explosion of an army depot killed at least 11 people and injured 300 more, government spokesman Grid Rroji said.
