Lebanese Christian oppositon leader, General Michel Aoun, said that Israel is taking revenge by attacking Lebanon."They are not military aimed attacks but the attacks on innocent civilians to take revenge.Aoun also pointed out that "if the operations were with military aims, only military aims should be focused. So as a result of this approach the love and sympathy on Hezbollah grew up and up and the nation united. Israel does not want order in Lebanon as we can understand from the attitudes. As Lebonon is economically hit by these attacks, Israel's damage is bigger that Lebanon since it is the tourism season in Israel."

He also said that "Israel aims terminating Hezbollah, but this is just a dream that cannot  come true.This is their third attempt. They want to show Hezbollah as a terrorist group in the world media but this is not true.Hezbollah is a resistance of a nation for freedom, it is not a terrorist group."
