Armenia to take over the rotating presidency of BSEC in Albania

Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan departed from Ankara's Esenboga International Airport on Wednesday and headed to Albania.

Armenia to take over the rotating presidency of BSEC in Albania

Babacan will attend the 19th Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).

Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the meeting would take place in Tirana on October 23.

During his stay in Tirana, Babacan is set to hold a series of bilateral talks with foreign ministers of the BSEC-member countries.

Armenia will take over the rotating presidency of the BSEC in the meeting in Tirana. BSEC's members include Azerbaijan, Armenia, Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Turkey, Serbia and Ukraine.

Albania is the current president of the BSEC.
