Further transportation of cargoes for the Bushehr nuclear power station in Iran was suspended across Azerbaijan, Russian news agency said on Sunday.
Itar-Tass based the report on the press service of the Russian Atomstroiexport Company, the general contractor of the construction of the Bushehr station.
According to company press secretary Irina Yesipova, "this is a subject for further talks".
Iran, Azerbaijan to hold meeting on shipping cooperation
However, the joint meeting of Iran and Azerbaijan on shipping cooperation will be held in Tehran for three days as of May 4, Iranian news agency reported.
IRNA reported the deputy head of Ports and Shipping Organization said that "the meeting aims to bolster bilateral shipping ties, develop marine and ports transportation, prevent oil pollution and carry out joint search and rescue operations between the two countries."
According to the report, "During the three-day event, developing marine transportation in the Caspian Sea, joint investment in the field of goods transit, utilizing the potential of two countries for the North-South international transportation corridor will be discussed," Alireza Satei said.
