Berlin's two airports faced on Thursday flight delays and cancellations after the Verdi service workers union carried out brief work stoppages to demand an 8 percent pay raise.
Verdi said employers have offered a 1.3 percent pay rise.
No one at the airport was available for comment.
Verdi is leading separate negotiations for a raise of 8 percent for 700,000 employees of federal states and a settlement would be applied to about 1.3 million civil servants.
Last week, thousands of public sector workers staged brief strikes in actions that affected transport and schools across the country. Public transport ground to a halt in 10 cities, while schools and hospitals suffered walk-outs in north Germany.
