The body of a person reported missing after the flood disaster in an Istanbul town was found on Saturday.

Divers of the Istanbul Municipality discovered the body of 65-year-old Nusret Dursun under a viaduct over Karasu brook on Ankara-Istanbul motorway.

Dursun was one of the four people who was reported missing in the flood that hit Istanbul' Catalca town earlier this week.

After Dursun's body was found, the death toll in Catalca rose to four.

Efforts are under way to find eight-year-old Ceyda Guder, 65-year-old Gulseren Dursun and her 6-year-old granddaughter Gulseren Dursun.

Thirty-one people were killed when floods, triggered by torrential rains, swamped a number of houses and business places in Istanbul and the neighboring province of Tekirdag on Tuesday and Wednesday.
