Relatives of a man who died in last month's deadly jetliner crash in Brazil are suing the aircraft's maker and the airline in a U.S. court.
Both leading Brazilian airline TAM Linhas Aereas SA and plane manufacturer Airbus SAS are named in the suit filed in U.S. District Court in Miami by attorneys for family members of Ricardo Tazoe, Estado de Sao Paulo reported Wednesday.
Tazoe, who worked for Spanish bank Santander in Miami, was one of 199 victims of the crash of TAM Flight 3054 that crashed last month at Congonhas Airport in Sao Paulo.
Last week, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva fired his defense minister, who has responsibility for aviation in the country.
