Bulgaria eyes Libya torture charges
A Bulgarian prosecutor is to file charges against 11 Libyan police officers for allegedly torturing five Bulgarian nurses who have been sentenced to death in Libya after being found guilty of deliberately infecting over 400 children with HIV

Nikolay Kokinov said: "They will be accused of extracting confessions under duress.
"We believe there is enough evidence proving a crime."
The five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor were sentenced to death by firing squad in December, 2006 after a court in Tripoli found them guilty of infecting the children at a Libyan hospital.
