Justice and Development (AK) Party deputy Mehmet Ceylan was representing Turkey in the Ross-Roth seminar, which would also address issues such as energy security in the Caspian, developments in Central Asia and Afghanistan, democratization and human rights.

Ceylan told the AA that Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipelines were very important to for energy safety and the security of the whole region.
