Ludek Sefzig, head of the EU Affairs Committee in the Czech Senate, and the accompanying delegation visited the Turkish Parliament Monday in Ankara.

Sefzig and the accompanying delegation first met with Yasar Yakis, Chair of the Turkey-EU Adjustment Comittee. Yakis thanked Czech Republic for its support to Turkey's EU bid and said Turkey gave support to Czech Republic's membership to NATO.

Later Sefzig and the accompanying delegation met with Turkey's Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan. The meeting was closed to the press.
