A rally marking the third anniversary of the death of former Palestinian president Yasser Arafat ended in bloodshed Monday, when clashes between Hamas police and supporters of the rival Fatah movement left eight people dead and 150 wounded.
Each movement blamed the other for instigating the violence in Gaza City.
Of the eight dead, three were identified as Fatah members.
