Eleven Israeli fighter jets violated Lebanese airspace on Thursday, Lebanese army said in a statement.
The army said nine war jets and two surveillance ones flew over several areas in the country since early Thursday till night.
The command said the jets entered Lebanese airspace and flew at a low altitude in some areas and at high altitude in others.
Israel has continued to carry out flights over Lebanese territory despite the UN Security Council's Resolution 1701 which has brokered a ceasefire between the Jewish state and Hezbollah on Aug. 14, 2006.
