Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Saturday those who overshadow democratic esteem of Turkey and endanger its political and economic stability will suffer the consequences themselves.

"This unfortunate initiative has no legitimacy in the conscience of the nation as it has no legal ground," he commented on closure case against the Justice & Development (AK) Party in a party gathering in southeastern province of Siirt.

'PARTY WILL REPRESENT THE NATION TILL THE VERY END'

Erdogan assured those who voted for his party on July 22nd, 2007 that the party will continue to assume the authority to represent the nation till the very end.

"We will not let accomplishments and stability to be harmed. Turkey will go on its path for democracy, justice and development and improve rights and freedoms without interruption," he told.

Erdogan said his party is determined not to make concessions of Turkey's unity, solidarity and freedoms.
