Erdogan's retouch on candidate lists

Gul was not included in the lists determined only by Tayyip Erdogan.

Arınc only retained the ranking in Manisa.

AKP leader excluded the figures on bad terms with army.

When AK Party was founded in 2001, the party had four main figures: Tayyip Erdogan, Abdullah Gul, Bulent Arınc and Abdullatif Sener.

Before 2002 elections, these four prepared the deputy list.

After a four year rule, now the Prime Minister Erdogan made his mark on the preparation of this list for the election on July 22.

The Prime Minister moved female candidates forward; took the ones having problems with the army out; and cut down on the ones with beard in AK Party's list of candidates.

Erdogan's words "Turkey's central party is AK Party" were reflected in the candidate list of AKP.

Seven figures, the symbol of National Opinion were either excluded or remained in the bottom of the list.

Among them are Elkatmış, Gunduz, Kansu, Uzunkaya, Sezal, Aktas and Erdem.
