At least five people died when a Turkish Airlines passenger plane crashed at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport on Wednesday, Dutch television reported.

Dutch emergency services were not immediately available to comment.

A news conference is due to take place at Schiphol airport at around 1230 GMT.
