Five earthquakes measuring 3.6, 3.1, on the Richter scale hit Turkey's western coastal cities overlooking Aegean Sea on Tuesday, but no casualties were reported.
An official source at the Turkish seismology center, Bogzici University, in Istanbul said the first quake with a magnitude of 3.5 hit the area adding that the second, third, forth, and fifth were of 3.6 magnitude.
Medium quakes jolt Turkey almost every day as it sits atop several active fault lines.
