Forex reserves of Turkish Central Bank rise $75.6 bln

Of July 11th's total gross reserves, 55.2 billion USD was from privately owned companies, including commercial banks, while the Central Bank held the rest.

Foreign exchange reserves of Turkish Central Bank rose to 75.6 billion USD on July 18th.

The reserves were 75.2 billion USD on July 11th.

In its weekly bulletin, the Central Bank said its total gross reserves (foreign currency plus gold) are down to 133.6 billion USD on July 11th. They were around 134.6 billion USD on July 4th.

Of July 11th's total gross reserves, 55.2 billion USD was from privately owned companies, including commercial banks, while the Central Bank held the rest.

Meanwhile, Turkey repaid 938 million USD of foreign debt between July 1st and 23rd.

The foreign debt Turkey has repaid since the beginning of 2008 amounted to 10 billion USD.
