G20 says Turkey's finance among at best level

Group of 20 (G-20) said on Tuesday that Turkey was among the countries whose general finance were at the best level.

Turkey, a member of G-20, is one of the countries which can maintain its general public finance, according to an analysis prepared by G-20.

Under the analysis, inflation will drop this year and next year in countries including Turkey.

The analysis said financial stimulate packages are expected to contribute between half and quarter percent to the group of countries including Turkey.

Turkish State Minister Mehmet Simsek will travel to London on March 13 to represent Turkey at G-20 economy ministers and central bank governors meeting scheduled for March 14.

Simsek will also meet executives of IMF and World Bank before returning to Turkey on March 15.

The ministers and central bank governors will review preparations for the G-20 Leaders' Summit scheduled for April 2. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will represent Turkey at the meeting.

Head of states and governments will seek for ways of solution to the global economic crisis at the London Summit.

Since 1999, the G-20 has contributed to strengthen the international financial architecture and to foster sustainable economic growth and development. The G20 now has a crucial role in driving forward work between advanced and emerging economies to tackle the international financial and economic crisis, restore worldwide financial stability, lead the international economic recovery and secure a sustainable future for all countries.
