Police cordoned off a school in southwestern Germany on Friday after taking note of a warning in an Internet chatroom that a violent act was planned there, a spokeswoman said on Friday.
Teachers and pupils had not been let inside the school in Ilsfed near the town of Heilbronn in the morning, the police spokeswoman said, adding officials were searching the premises.
The warning came after a 17-year old killed 15 people, many of them at his former school, in the southwest German town of Winnenden on Wednesday.
