The secret witness with the testimony included in 441 files of Ergenekon Investigation prepared by Istanbul Supreme Court of Appeals turned out to be former executive of PKK.

Identity of secret witness revealed in Ergenekon case
One of the 12 secret witnesses of Ergenekon case has been revealed when another document revealing his identity was added to the file, Sabah reported.

The identity of the secret witness with the code name "Galip" was included in another document coming from another city. However, the public prosecutor put this document into the investigation file. So, the secret witness' identity came out.

Name and surname of the witness with the code name Galip was included in a file sent to the court and the identity of the secret witness has been revealed. The secret witness gives information on the murder of Mumcu and on PKK in his testimony.

The secret witness with the testimony included in 441 files of Ergenekon Investigation prepared by Istanbul Supreme Court of Appeals turned out to be former executive of PKK terrorist organization.

The horrible mistake came out when the correspondences giving away the name and surname of the secret witness were included in the file.

Secret witness stated that jailed PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan had told him that prominent journalist Uğur Mumcu was killed because he was going to reveal Öcalan's connection to pilot Necati. The witness stated that the government had assigned pilot Necati to check Öcalan and added: "Öcalan had told us that he was using pilot Necati to get information and the government did not push him."
