Fifteen Iraqi people who were injured in Sunday's attack in Iraq were brought to Turkey for medical treatment, the Prime Minister's Office said on Wednesday.

Fifteen Iraqi people who were injured in Sunday's attack in Iraq were brought to Turkey for medical treatment, the Prime Minister's Office said on Wednesday.

A statement posted on the Prime Ministry Press Center's web-site said that 15 people who were injured in the Iraqi province of Salahuddin on Sunday were brought to Turkey and were taken under medical treatment.

Four people died and at least 30 were wounded in a bomb attack in the town of Tuz Khormato, 180 kilometers northeast of capital Baghdad, on Sunday.

"The General Staff allocated a plane to bring the injured to Turkey, and the plane took off from Etimesgut military airport in Ankara early in the morning," the statement said.

The statement also said the plane brought 15 injured and their 15 companions to Ankara the same day.
