Palestinian sources said that the IOF soldiers held the minister for almost an hour and a half near the Ofer military court while he was waiting along with a number of citizens for the release of the two-year-old child Aisha Al-Hawdali, from an Israeli jail.

Aisha is the daughter of the detainee Etaf Ulayan, who is waiting for the court's ruling on her protest over the third consecutive renewal of her administrative detention without trial or charge in Israeli occupation prisons.

Relatives of Etaf expressed their utmost disgust at the Israeli step in separating the toddler from her mother, while her lawyer Ahmed Ammar described the measure as "inhuman".

Meanwhile, in Jenin district, a disguised IOF unit kidnapped Sheikh Ghassan Al-Saadi, one of the prominent Islamic Jihad Movement's leaders in the Jenin city.

Jihad sources said that the Sheikh, who was wanted for the IOF for the past year and a half, was kidnapped in Burkin village west of Jenin at the hands of disguised IOF soldiers who infiltrated into the town in a car with Palestinian registration plates.

Ghassan is the brother of commander of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Jenin Bassam Al-Saadi, who is currently held in an Israeli jail.
