Iran's former ambassador to Sweden, Hassan Qashqavi, was appointed as the new spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Iranian news agency IRNA reported on Sunday.
Qashqavi will succeed Mohammad-Ali Hosseini who is to take part in his last press conference with domestic and foreign reporters tomorrow (Monday), the agency said.
The new spokesman has previously served as Iran's ambassador to Kazakhstan and Sweden. He was also a Majlis deputy for two terms.
