Iran on Tuesday described as positive two days of talks with the top investigator of the U.N. atomic energy watchdog.

Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency ended their two-day closed-door talks on Tuesday.

Iran on Tuesday described as positive two days of talks with the top investigator of the U.N. atomic energy watchdog, who was looking into Western claims about Iranian nuclear program.

"The talks with (Olli) Heinonen were positive," a senior Iranian nuclear official, who asked not to be named said.

Heinonen will leave Tehran early Wednesday morning based on a pre-set schedule.
