Iran will hold its second Nuclear Technology Day on April 8, during which the government will tout the country's new achievements in the nuclear sector, Russian RIA Novosti reported.
Government spokesman Gholam-Hossein Elham told reporters on Saturday: "Our goal was always to produce nuclear fuel and to develop generation capacity of 20,000 megawatts at our nuclear power plants."
"Despite resistance from our enemies and the machinations of the United States, we will announce to the people our new achievements in the nuclear sphere."
Iran's first Nuclear Day was held last year, on the first anniversary of the launch of uranium enrichment in the country.
