Iran to reduce price difference fee for Turkish vehicles
Iran will make a 25 percent cut in fuel oil price difference fee it collects from Turkish vehicles as of February 1, 2009, Turkish state minister said on Wednesday.
Replying to questions of reporters in Iranian capital of Tehran, State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said this decision of Iran would reduce the cost of transit exports by Turkey to Iran as well as to Turkish republics via Iran.
There is a difference between price of fuel oil in Iran and international fuel prices and Iran reflects this difference on the fees it collects from the foreign trucks.
Tuzmen said that the decision of Iran was conveyed to Turkish authorities on Tuesday and it would be valid for one year.
