Twenty Iraqis, who were wounded in a recent suicide attack in the northern Iraqi town of Tal Afar, were brought to Ankara early on Friday.
Upon Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's directives, two ambulance planes of the Turkish General Staff brought the Iraqis from Tal Afar to the Turkish capital where they will receive treatment.
The wounded will receive medical treatment at Ankara's Gulhane Military Hospital (GATA), officials stated.
Numerous Iraqis were wounded in Tal Afar, Iraq on Wednesday when a car bomb exploded. Twenty-five people were killed in the blast.
