Israel might jail 3 journalists

The Israeli Police's Department of International Crimes is prosecuting three journalists who have traveled to Lebanon and Syria.

The police decided to open the investigation, claiming that the journalists' trips were made without permission from the Interior Ministry.

Journalist Tzur Shizaf was questioned for traveling to Lebanon to write an article for a travel magazine. Ron Ben-Yishai was also interrogated for traveling to Syria and Lisa Goldman for her trip to Lebanon.

The police have announced that the residents of the occupied territories should not travel to what it calls 'enemy states', even if they employ foreign passports.

Alon Shahrbani, the head of the police department says the journalists might receive a four year prison sentence for their trips.
