An Israeli missile struck a police post about 150 metres (yards) from the home of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, but the Islamist group said the house was not damaged.
Haniyeh's son said that five armed men were wounded when the missile struck the Hamas-controlled police position.
Israel had said it may start killing senior Hamas leaders.
