A Turkish metropolis will host an international local administrations symposium.
The first international local administrations symposium will take place in Istanbul from April 12th and 13th, a statement by the ruling Justice & Development (AK) Party said on Thursday.
According to a statement of the local office of AK Party in this metropolis, Cemil Resit Rey Concert Hall will be the venue of the symposium.
"Local administrators and academicians from Albania, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Syria and the United States will participate in the symposium," the statement said.
The statement also said the symposium aims to make Istanbul an international center where local administrators and experts convene regularly and discuss new concepts and tendencies in city planning.
