Two-time Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning American actor and director John Malkovich is set to arrive on Friday in Istanbul as part of the International Istanbul Film Festival.

Malkovich will be presented with the Cinema Honorary Award and meet his fans at the Emek Movie Theatre in Istanbul's Beyoglu district. He will also appear at press conference.

"Disgrace," an Austrialian-South African co-production which stars Malkovich, will compete for the top prize in the festival.
