A remote-control land-mine planted by PKK terrorists on railway in the southeastern province of Bingol went off, slightly injuring two engine drivers and derailing the locomotive and five cars, sources said on Friday.

The land-mine detonated as a fright train bound from Elazig to Tatvan was passing by at 21.00 local time overnight.

The two engine drivers were slightly injured in the attack while the locomotive and five cars of the train derailed.

Efforts are under way to repair the rails.
