Libya nurse verdict on 11 July
Libya's supreme court will rule on 11 July on the case of five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor charged with deliberately infecting 426 Libyan children with the HIV virus, judge Fathi Dhan said at a hearing on Wednesday.

The court could revoke or confirm death penalty sentences previously issued against the six but cannot order a retrial.

However once the Libyan supreme court has ruled, the case will go to the government-controlled high judicial council which could change the decision.
