Libya's budget for 2010 will set out expenditure of 58 billion dinars ($46.4 billion), a 32 percent increase on last year's budget, a government spokesman said on Wednesday.

"The budget for this year will be about 58 billion Libyan dinars," Mohamed Bayou, a spokesman for Libya's General People's Committee, or government, told Reuters.

He said it was Libya's largest budget ever. Budget expenditure last year was 44 billion dinars. He also said the government would be spending 82 billion dinars from the budget over the next three years on development and infra-structure.
