UNESCO "Mevlana and Tolerance Year" celebrations in the Netherlands will continue until 2010, said 17 associations organizing art events in the country.

The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) "Mevlana and Tolerance Year" celebrations in the Netherlands will continue until 2010, said 17 associations organizing art events in the country.

Activities last year reached 5 million people, said the associations, adding that they will hold seminars on "Mevlana and Women" this summer.

I do hope Mevlana helps us Muslims and Dutch people find a beautiful common ground.. For Mevlana is a real good uniter. I have read some of his works and can see how his great heart can be a home for a Christian and a Muslim, a Shia and a Sunni..I do think his books are written from a super awareness view where we can be closer to eachother.
