Economic and commercial relations should be boosted among member states of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), a business forum declaration said on Saturday.

A Business Forum meeting was held on November 5 and 6 by the Union of Turkish Chambers & Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) and the Association of Independent Industrialists & Businessmen (MUSIAD) on the sidelines of the meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) of OIC in Istanbul.

The declaration issued at the end of the business forum said free trade agreements should be encouraged among OIC member countries.

Dialogue and cooperation should be enhanced between OIC countries and international financial mechanisms, it said.

The declaration also said that youths and women should be encouraged to be entrepreneurs.
