Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Ivanovich Sechin said on Thursday that a special passage corridor, named as green corridor, has been opened in the international airport in Moscow, and noted that conveniences would be provided for goods that would be transferred from there.

Speaking at a joint news conference with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz at the Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, Sechin expressed satisfaction over improving economic and commercial relations between Turkey and Russia.

Sechin said energy, transportation as well as commercial relations would be assessed during his visit to Turkey.

Sechin said he wanted to herald that a green corridor was opened in the international airport in Moscow which was specially linked with Turkey, noting that this was a project which would enable facilities for the goods passing from there.

Asked to comment on Russia's applying reduction in natural gas prices, Sechin said cooperation improves between Turkey and Russia regarding natural gas, and added that discount in natural gas prices was among the issues the two parties discuss continuously.

Sechin said when a project was in question, it should definitely consider the interests of both parties.
