NATO approves Turkey's crypto devices
Eight crypto devices and two cryptographic algorithms developed by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology (UEKAE) have been approved by NATO Military Committee for use within NATO and NATO member countries for communications with all security classification levels.

Those devices and algorithms will be used to provide security in data transmission and communication among the allied countries.

MILOF-1, offline crypto device developed by UEKAE, was approved by NATO in May.

The cryptographic product enables a secure communication in the Alliance by encoding messages, documents, voices, images and digital maps in all confidentiality levels.
