Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Sabah said Tuesday Iraq will hold the next expanded meeting of neighboring countries of Iraq in Baghdad, Kuwaiti news agency reported.
One of the key decisions of today's meeting is that "the next conference is to be held in Baghdad," Sheikh Mohammad told a joint news conference with Iraqi foreign minister Hoshyar Zebari following the third expanded conference of neighboring countries of Iraq.
KUNA said the participants in the conference have expressed, in the final communique, desire and wish that the fourth meeting would be held in the Iraqi capital, but did not set a date.
The first and second conference of Iraq's neighbors were held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, and Istanbul in Turkey last year.
