Chairman of the Justice and Development (AK) Party and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday, "following what happened in Davos recently, certain circles are making comments that Turkey has lost its mediator role in the Middle East and is becoming ineffective and lonely".
Speaking at a political rally in the northern province of Sinop, Erdogan said that everyone must know that Turkey did not have any problem in determining a direction for herself.
Turkey's direction and goal were clear, Erdogan said.
"No one should try to hurt Turkey's multi-dimensional relations and limit Turkey to a certain region or area. Turkey is a big country that can not be restricted to a certain corner," Erdogan said.
There was no more a government in Turkey that would wait upon the directives of diverse countries, Erdogan also said.
