Our prior target is to raise this number to 100,000," Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen told A.A correspondent on Sunday.
Tuzmen said there were only 31,000 exporter companies in Turkey in 2002.
"I hope we can achieve our prior target (to have 100,000 exporter companies) in the following eight or ten years;" he told.
On the other hand, Tuzmen said Turkey has earned 102 billion USD from its exports since the beginning of 2007.
"The 12-month exports are over 106 billion USD," he told.
Tuzmen said small and medium scale enterprises (KOBIs) can export to neighboring and surrounding countries.
"Our target is to make all small and medium scale enterprises an exporter firm," he told.
