Ozgener elected as head of Turkish Football Federation

Former TFF President Dogan died of a heart attack in Bodrum town of Mugla province in July.

Ozgener elected as head of Turkish Football Federation
Mahmut Ozgener was elected the 38th President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) at the extraordinary meeting of TFF General Assembly on Tuesday.

Ozgener who was the sole candidate in the elections, received 202 of the votes.

Speaking after the election, Ozgener said he would not disappoint the people who put their trust in him and promised to strive for success of Turkish football.

Following the sudden death of former TFF President Hasan Dogan, Ozgener was nominated with signatures of 173 delegates.

Former TFF President Dogan died of a heart attack in Bodrum town of Mugla province in July.

He was elected the president of TFF on February 14th, 2008.
