Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet Syrian President Bashar al-Asad on Tuesday, prime ministry officials said on Monday.
Erdogan will travel to Aegean resort town of Bodrum where Asad spends his holiday time, officials said.
Turkey has been mediating indirect peace talks between Syria and Israel for a couple of months. A fifth round of talks is expected in mid-August.
Following his meeting with Asad, Erdogan would proceed to fire-hit Mediterranean province of Antalya, officials added.
